St. John's School Recycling Partnership

St Johns SchoolA private school founded in 1888, St. John’s Lutheran School provides kindergarten through 8th grade education to more than 240 students.  Like many grade schools, St. John’s provides recycling education to their students.  As part of their recycling educational program, St. John’s receives money back for collecting recycled paper products collected in a special outdoor container.

Through one of our employees, Tree Towns formed a community partnership with the school.  Once a month we load up one of our delivery vehicles with all of our waste corrugated paper and waste paper board; two paper products that are not picked up with our regular recycling container.  This allows us to continue our efforts to “Go Green” while at the same time helping a local school receive cash back for collected recyclable paper.
