Image Access Scanners

August 14, 2017

We have upgraded our scanning services at Tree Towns with the Image Access portfolio of high quality document scanners.

In addition to offering our scanning services, Tree Towns is now an authorized reseller of the Image Access scanner line.

Visit us to see a demonstration of this new line of scanners. The new Image Access Art Scanner is the latest thing in fine art scanners and scan artworks contact-free at high resolution. The artwork is placed on a bed and the bed moves carrying the artwork under the scanner lens. It is not even necessary to remove artwork from frames or mountings to capture them with this new type of scanner. Built-in software faithfully reproduces the color gamut of the original work, an automated process saving time allowing us to scan much quicker and thus reduce the cost of scanning services and expedite the preparation of the scanned image for print.

The Bookeye kiosk scanners are a new innovation by Image Access in archival scanning technology. The Bookeye scanners are ideal for libraries, museums, and archives. Designed with the purpose of handling historical documents, the scanner cradles a book and the scanner lens above it captures the image at high resolution, while software takes the curve out from the binding and flattens the scan into an accurate image of each page. The Bookeye functionally doubles as a flatbed scanner, the cradle can be flattened and other documents besides books can be captured by this latest technology in scanning.

In addition to these innovations in scanning technology, Image Access has perfected the art of scanning with their series of wide format and flatbed scanners that give high resolution quality, accurate color replication, and built-in software that automates the work usually required to retouch scans.

We are attending the 2017 Illinois Library Association Annual Conference, October 10-12 at the Tinley Park Convention Center, and will be showing the Image Access Bookeye kiosk, a new innovation by Image Access of archival scanning technology.
